Brent & Harrow
My constituency, the London Boroughs of Brent and Harrow, stretches throughout much of North West London, from the inner city of Kilburn High Road in the South-East to Pinner, Edgware and the Green Belt in the North. I represent nearly half a million people and 186,000 households, covering all or part of 6 parliamentary constituencies.
Brent and Harrow is not only large but also diverse. The constituency contains pockets of wealth and deprivation among its residential areas, suburban development amid many villages and town centres of Middlesex. Furthermore, our population is diverse. According to the 2011 census, Brent was the most ethnically diverse local authority in the UK while Harrow was the most religiously diverse.
